The CIQ Quilt Show wrapped up last night. It was a great show, 150 quilts, great vendors, as well as nice displays of Comfort Quilts made by CIQ members for Providence Women & Children's Center in Everett & Stanwood-Camano Hero Quilters supporting the American Hero Quilts project for wounded soldiers.
Dad went on an outing to the quilt show. Every year Josephine Suites, where he lives, brings a small group to the quilt show. When he walked into the gym he said "There's a lot of hard work in this room". It was nice to show him all the quilts & watch as he looked closer to see all the detail. It's nice to have a Dad who at 78 still support what you do! The quilt we are standing by is my favorite Blue Hawaii.
I better get cracking around here. The laundry is sky high & the way it looks right now, I can't possibly live here!
