Story Walk Challenge Quilts

Need a fun outing his weekend? Here's your chance.  This is a nice little quilt show. If you need somewhere good to eat try Train Wreck in Burlington. Fabulous food!

Shawnie made this wall hanging in a class with Kathy McNeil. Her inspiration was a painting, Moon Glow, by one of her favorite artists. If you want to see it up close it will be at the quilt show.

Quilts are calling. Hopefully will get a slide show together soon on our Vancouver weekend.

A Quilty Week

Betty is making quilts for her daughter's  & their families. This one will be going to San Antonio TX. The swirl in the triangles reminds me of swirling snow.

She wanted hearts somewhere on the quilt. Adding them to the Swirly Girly design worked out great.

How has your weekend been? Went on a quick overnight to Vancouver BC via Amtrak(thumbs up) with Mr S. I'll try to show you some pics soon. I didn't have my camera ready when we went by the nude, waving sunbathers. Rats!

Be back soon.

Sarah O has done it again. This is her latest soon to be released pattern. Here's a link to her website.

Kathy stitched up this batik beauty. Nana had helper when it was time to take pictures.

Yummy flannel back. Freehand vines design for center & border.

I hope you are going to get out & enjoy the weather this weekend. It's going to be a good one!

See you again soon!

Littlest Mister's Big Day

It's hard to believe Daniel is 1 already. Why does time go by so fast? Here he is "resting" up the day before the party.

Mama had lots of help opening presents.

Hmmmm, this cake is pretty good.

That's all for now. Looking forward to 86 degrees & sunny today. I'll be back soon with more quilts.

Lynne's Special Sampler

Here's Lynne's big sampler. So pretty & so fun to quilt.

Yummy border fabric & setting triangle calling for leaves.

Echo & swirly girly.

Sorry this is so dark. No wonder I'm vitamin D deficient.

So I'm off to Nanaland. Can you believe the Littlest Mister will be 1 on Saturday?
Keeping my fingers crossed that I can post while I'm there.

Be back soon!
