Quilt Mountain

Greetings From Nanland. Here's the Quilt Mountain from the last 2 weeks.
There are a couple more quilts to show you when
 I get home.

These are a couple more of Joanne's  Christmas quilts for her family.

This Princess quilt goes to a new great grandchild in the Griffith family.

This is a mystery quilt Kim did last year at Aunt Mary's quilt shop.

Yummy flannel on the back.

Used "Splash" on this one for Joy.

A nice Underground Railroad by Marge. Her third quilt!
A Rozanne Carter pattern using a Bali Pop by Terri.

Della wanted simple on this Kaffe beauty. Love the turquoise sashing!
It's been 70 & sunny here in Nanaland. Hopefully I'll get the little rascals to hold still for a picture soon. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!

Secret Santa

Secret Santa sent me a nice card & a gift card. What a nice surprise!
A little retail therapy is coming my way!

A self portrait in the upper left. :)

Shopping!

Thank you Secret Santa for the nice surprise. I can't begin to tell you how much
I appreciate your thoughtfulness.

Back to quilting. Wish I could quilt in my sleep! I'll have more quilt pictures soon.
Four more days & I'm off to Nanaland. Little Mister is "so exciting"(he doesn't say excited) for Nana to come he's dreaming about being at the airport waiting for me.

See you soon!

The Week of The Snowmen & Snow-women

It's buzzy busy around here. "Is my quilt done yet?" is the saying of the week.
Jonne made this lovely rework beauty.

Susan did this BOM at the Granary Quilt shop in Sunnyvale. Very fun. Quilted holly, snowflakes, & a little bit of this & that.

More quilt pictures coming soon.

Wrapping up November

Here are the quilts through last week.

Somehow I missed this quilt in August. Darlene made this one & I tried some of Angela's
modern swirls. I took classes from her at MQX & Craftsy. Once you take a class at Craftsy it's always there. Kind of like a subscription that never runs out.

Dawn made this beauty. I had to think for awhile to come up with the designs for this one. That's what it's about, the challenge, right? I'm happy with how it turned out.

Some swirly girly for the fill around these fan flowers.

Ferny fans & leafy meander.

Ginkgo border.

And the best view from the back.

This is part of a Hero Quilt from our last Sew Day. I think Debbie did this. I love this. Can't wait to see it done.

Thanksgiving day sunset from Camano Island State Park. It was a wildlife extravaganza. Mr Heron was on the boat launch dock, an eagle was on the lookout for dinner, & we saw porpoises  playing closer to Whidbey Island. I love where I live!

The tide was very low & it was a real treat to see this.

December is here whether we like it or not. It's going to be a busy one here.
Until next time.
