Home on Friday night from Nanaland. I can't believe how grown up Andrew looks in this picture. He was helping Nana with some cooking.
Daniel is getting so big. Crawling or scooting everywhere.
I have to say, my cup is pretty full right now.

Happy Birthday Amy
This was a class at The Quilt Shoppe in Arlington. A friend , Kathy Smith made it for her daughter Amy's birthday. Sadly, Kathy lost her battle with the big "C" this past summer.
Kathy was part of The Sassy's. An applique group I belong to that meets twice a month. Kathy would be the first to tell you "these are not my colors." And I'm pretty sure she changed the pattern, like always!
Here's a couple of the blocks.
This is the center of the quilt.
More blocks.
This is the border from the back of the quilt. I tried a new design I learned at MQX. I like the way it turned out.
Kathy & I with Joyce peaking around me. I have given some thought lately about all the women that I've become friends with through quilting. I feel truly blessed to be surrounded by wonderful, funny, talented, caring , smart women.
Sorry it's been so long between posts. I had computer problems at home uploading photos to the blog. I took care of that while I have been in Nanaland. Hopefully will have a couple more posts soon.
Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Joanna reminded me that the last time we were together for Thanksgiving was 9 years ago. It was nice to spend the time with her family.
More quilts coming soon.

Still Running
Apparently not fast enough though. I am 1 week into a cold & wishing I was over it!
Here's what's been happening.
Linda made this quilt for a friend.
Love the monthly themed embroidery blocks.
This sweet quilt is going to a new baby girl.
I tried some new swirly flowers. Click on the picture for a better look.
Minkee really shows off the quilting.
Della whipped up this stunning Storm at Sea using a Roxanne Carter pattern.
Friday I am quilting with the Stanwood-Camano Hero Quilters at the Arlington Heights Community Center for Veteran's Day. Looking forward to a day of sewing, food & friends.
See you again soon!

Littlest Mister
Hi everybody, it's me Daniel. I don't know why Nana hasn't put more pictures of me on her blog. I wore this Seattle Mariners outfit for Halloween.
I better go, Mom says it's bedtime.
Can you hear Nana's quilting machine? She says she'll have more quilt posts soon.
xoxo
