Custom for Jennifer

Jennifer sent me these 2 quilts that had lots of wide open spaces or "quilting opportunities" as I like to call them.

To help break it up I quilted circles around the little stars.

This Lone Star was a UFO that had been in her to do stack for awhile. It was a "divide & conquer" kind of quilt.

I love quilting leaves & this quilt gave me plenty of opportunities to leaf away.

Taking time to do my 2 favorite things.

Enjoy time with The Little Misters at , in D's words, "the Camano Ocean."
No, that's not snow on the logs it's ice.

Sunrise & sunset are always a joy in my little corner of the world. I'm not always up to see the sunrise. Here's one from October that reminds me I am living a very blessed life. The Cascade mountain range is a perfect backdrop!

Be back soon.

The T-shirt Quilt Summer

I'm still here. Not sure where the time goes. How about you?

I made 3 t-shirt quilts over the summer. I'll post about the other 2 later.

This one is Regan's. He has played baseball forever & his Mom, Ginger, saved all his jerseys & t-shirts from the beginning. Ginger was my neighbor in my previous Mrs. S life. The best neighbor you could ask for & funny. Her Thanksgiving turkey tried out for the Olympics one year. It did a full gainer as it came out of the oven.

I quilted something different in each square. It was fun to do.

I did this on the back of quilts I made for The Little Misters & like the personal touch it gives a quilt.

Here they are Ginger & Regan.

I'm going to try & make appearances here more often. Life's been a bit of a roller coaster ride. I feel like I'm on the merry-go-round now, which is a good thing.

Lynn's Sampler, El's Kitchen

Lynn made this beautiful Eleanor Burns quilt, Quilts from El's Kitchen. It was so much fun to quilt. There will be buttons at the center of each of the flowers in the basket & on the borders. Something different in each block & a scalloped border.
Enjoy!

It's been a busy summer here. A couple Little Mister visits.
Beach time.

Cama Beach craft time.

My Jurassic veggie containers.

Have lost track of how many times this yumminess has happened. So good.

I apologize for being the "absent blogger".
Looking forward to getting back on track.

See you soon.

Spotlight

Doorthy B was one of the featured quilters at our CIQ Quilt show in April. I had the privilege of quilting her Flights of Fancy Quilt. She is the queen of appliqué.

A monogram on the watering can.

Different backgrounds for different blocks.

This one was fun to quilt.

Swirly girly plus.

Thanks for having me quilt this beautiful quilt for you Dorothy.

The machine is calling.
Be back soon.
